F Hinds are an independent family business which has been operating for over 150 years. They have over one hundred high street stores in England and Wales and have offered an internet shopping service since 1997. F Hinds is now the largest independent jeweller in the UK with almost 1000 staff serving over two million customers every year.
The company was founded in 1856 by George Henry Hinds in Stamford, Lincolnshire. Shortly after the First World War brothers Frank and William, who were George’s grandsons, split the business in two with William moving into theatre and film becoming one of the two founders of Hammer Film Productions (the studio famous for horror films). Frank continued with the jewellery business and in 1990 F. Hinds took over the remaining shop owned by the other half of the family in Worthing Sussex.
F Finds offer a wide selection of diamonds, gold and silver jewellery, watches, clocks, collectibles and giftware. They are known for their quality goods and excellent customer service.
The company provides the option of a full refund or exchange if the goods you receive are faulty or differ from your order. As your purchase will have been made via the Internet you are entitled by law to cancel the order within seven days after receiving the goods. F Hinds also offer a 30 day change of mind guarantee on all their products (which excludes earrings and body jewellery for health reasons as well as personalised and specially ordered items).
